1. Khái quát kiến thức về Enough

Enough trong tiếng Anh có nghĩa là đủ, được dùng trong các câu diễn đạt số lượng hay kích thước. Trong tiếng Anh, Enough có thể được dùng với các cách sau:

• Enough đi sau trạng từ và tính từ:

Ví dụ:

• The children are old enough to ride bicycles. (Những đứa trẻ đủ lớn để chạy xe đạp.)
• They worked diligently enough to finish the project ahead of schedule. (Họ làm việc chăm chỉ đủ để hoàn thành dự án trước tiến độ.)
• Enough đi trước danh từ

Ví dụ: There is enough food for everyone at the party. (Có đủ thức ăn cho mọi người tại bữa tiệc.)

Lưu ý: Nếu bạn sử dụng cấu trúc “enough of” thì đi sau thường là một đại từ sở hữu.

Ví dụ: His friends didn't think he had enough of their support during tough times. (Bạn bè của anh ấy không nghĩ rằng anh ấy nhận đủ sự hỗ trợ từ họ trong những thời điểm khó khăn.)

• Enough có thể được sử dụng trong các mệnh đề trạng ngữ thể hiện kết quả

Cấu trúc:

S + V + adj/adv + enough + (for somebody) + to + V-bare

S + V + enough + noun + (for somebody) + to + V-bare

Ví dụ:

• There was enough time for them to finish the project. (Có đủ thời gian cho họ hoàn thành dự án.)
• We didn't have enough money for him to buy the concert tickets. (Chúng tôi không có đủ tiền để anh ấy mua vé concert.)

2. Khái quát kiến thức cấu trúc Too

Thông thường trong bài tập về Enough sẽ đi kèm với cấu trúc Too trong tiếng Anh. Hai cấu trúc này có ý nghĩa khác nhau, để làm tốt được bài tập bài tập enough và too thì hãy nắm chắc kiến thức dưới đây nhé!

• Cấu trúc too/to: S +V/be+ (not) + too + adj + (for somebody) + to V. (Quá đến nỗi không thể làm gì)

Ví dụ: The box is too heavy for me to lift. (Cái hộp quá nặng đối với tôi để nâng lên.)
